you are allergic to any ingredient in Lotrisone
you are taking pimozide or an ergot alkaloid (eg, ergotamine)

if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or are breast-feeding
if you are taking any prescription or nonprescription medicine, herbal preparation, or dietary supplement
if you have allergies to medicines, foods, or other substances
if you have diaper rash, eczema, measles, tuberculosis (TB) or a positive TB skin test, chickenpox, shingles, or thinning of the skin
if you have recently received a vaccination
Some MEDICINES MAY INTERACT with Lotrisone. Tell your health care provider if you are taking any other medicines, especially any of the following:
Barbiturates (eg, phenobarbital), carbamazepine, hydantoins (eg, phenytoin), or rifampin because they may decrease Lotrisone Lotion's effectiveness
Clarithromycin because the risk of certain side effects may be increased
Ergot alkaloids (eg, ergotamine), imatinib, macrolide immunosuppressants (eg, tacrolimus), live vaccines, pimozide, or ritodrine because their actions and the risk of their side effects may be increased by Lotrisone Lotion
Hydantoins (eg, phenytoin) or interleukin-2 because their effectiveness may be decreased by Lotrisone

Dry skin; mild burning or stinging at the application site.

Severe allergic reactions (rash; hives; itching; difficulty breathing; tightness in the chest; swelling of the mouth, face, lips, or tongue); irritation, redness, blistering, swelling, oozing, or severe burning at the application site; unusual bruising.
